Location: The Beshert Guesthouse has a great location just 5 minutes away from the beach, bars, and a selection of restaurants. The room was of a good size offering king sized bed, air conditioning, refrigerator, cable TV, and DVD player, in-room safe, and free WiFi. The hotel hosts a large DVD collection which are free for the guests to borrow which was a lovely touch. A very pleasant place to stay for a relatively cheap price.

Location: The Karon Sunshine Guesthouse is a budget hotel located less than 5 5-minute walk from the beach. For under 20$, the superior room was very clean and spacious with air conditioning and ceiling fan, a TV with plenty of channels, a mini bar, a super seating area with table and chairs, and a good-sized bathroom with toiletries supplied. High value for money hotel highly recommend in Karon.

Location: With spectacular views of the beach and Andaman Sea, The Karon Cliff Contemporary Boutique Bungalows set within the slopes of Karon provide easy access to the beach. By following the steps that lead to the beach and continuing on for 10 – 15 minutes on foot will bring you to the center of Karon where you will have a variety of bars and restaurants at your disposal. The hotel is not really what you would expect from the name boutique as it is far from 5 stars, however, it does offer decent-sized rooms that are clean if overall very basic. A nice place to try.

Location: The Pineapple Guesthouse is conveniently located just 5 5-minute walk from Karon Beach, and 20 20-minute walk to Kata Beach. The rooms are decent in size and clean and offer big beds, TV, air conditioning, refrigerator, in-room safe, and free WiFi. The bathroom was adequate with a good hot shower. Not the most spectacular but dependent on the season the price of the accommodation varies from 500 to 1000 THB (approx. 25$) and represents good value for money.

Location: The Karon Living Room Hotel is found on the main Patak road approximately 10 – 15 minutes walk from the beach. Clean and spacious, the rooms come with all the basic amenities including firm comfortable beds, air conditioning, TV, refrigerator and free WiFi. The bathroom includes a wet room, toilet, and shower facility. A budget hotel with very good value for money.

Location: The Baan Karon resort is just 15 15-minute walk from the beach. The rooms are spacious and all equipped with air conditioning, TV, mini bar, and free WiFi. The standard rooms however are a little dated so for the extra 5 – 7$ the superior rooms are the ones to choose from. The hotel also has a super swimming pool with a bar, ideal for relaxing. Reasonable hotel whilst not the most luxurious I had no complaints.

Location: The Bamboo House Phuket Hotel is positioned in the middle of the center of Karon. With a large variety of restaurants and bars on the doorstep and the beach easily accessed within a few minutes on foot, there is plenty to do. The rooms were very comfortable with modern designed and decoration and offered Japanese style low beds, but the biggest surprise had to be the Apple Mac mini that was installed and connected to the flat-screen TV with free internet access for use during the stay. WiFi is also available if you have your own device. Great hotel with super additional facilities.

Location: The Sunset Plaza is a condo complex found at the top of a steep hill overlooking the superb Karon beach, which is approximately 5 – 10 minutes on foot. The apartments are spacious, airy fully equipped with modern furnishings, and come with a lovely living room ideal place to relax, a fully equipped kitchenette with all the cooking utensils you will need, and one bedroom with a comfortable standard-sized bed with a flatscreen TV. The complex also offers two lovely swimming pools, one overlooking the town and one the sea. Bars and restaurants are just 2-3 minute walk away.
